Budokan Association Competition Results |

Well
done to all the members of the Blackpool Karate
School who attended this years BBA martial arts
competition.
As
always, we where warmly welcomed and met some
old friends and made some new contacts. This
years event was hosted in Blackpool and featured
Karate, Kickboxing and Kung Fu (Wu Shu) clubs
and competitors from across the country including
Lancaster, Lytham St Annes, Birmingham, Telford
and so on. |

A
huge well done to Brad Shanley, Victor Hague,
Andre Livingston & Bill Glaister.
It
was their first competition and they all showed
great character fighting more experienced -
bigger - older - people. Bill won the Gold for
the Light Weight Light Continuous boys and Andre
Received a Bronze medal for the under 10s Points
Fighting (with a special commendation from the
organiser on how bravely he fought throughout
his qualifying rounds). Brad and Victor scored
points against older more experienced competitors,
showing skill and determination. |
